Are you currently renovating a part of your home, and you’re wondering what you would like for your wall decoration? Well, whether it be wallpaper or wall coloring, here are a few pros and cons for each to help you decide.

First of all, wallpaper is very aesthetically pleasing and has probably thousands of beautiful designs to chose from, making it very easy to match with your home. However, wallpaper can peel after a short time depending on the adhesive used, and if exposed to water for a period of time, mold will begin to form on it. Also, if something is scratched up against the paper, or torn through, a whole section of that wallpaper must be taken out and replaced.

Yet, on the other hand, we have simple wall paint. In most recent years, there has been a decline in the use of wallpaper and the increase of wall coloring, simply because of the time and effort it would take to put wallpaper up, and the simplicity of wall coloring. Although wall coloring doesn’t have as many design capabilities as wallpaper does, it does provide for simple and aesthetically pleasing looks. The cost to paint and tape 4 rooms are still cheaper than buying wallpaper for just as many rooms, the adhesive, and the time and energy required to install it.

That being said, with the times changing, wall painting would be the way to go, however, if you want the flexibility of designs, then wallpaper is the way to go for you.
